His interest in dentistry began during his school years with a career report on orthodontics, eventually leading him to dental school, where he found his true calling in general dentistry.

After attending Michigan State University, Dr. Futch graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1990. His commitment to excellence led him to pursue additional training at the Dawson Academy in 1998, followed by further education with the OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry in 2006.
Dr. Futch maintains active membership in the American Dental Association, Nevada Dental Association, and Northern Nevada Dental Society to stay connected with advancements in dental care.

Dr. Futch shares these adventures with his wife of 34 years, Liz. Together, they’ve made Reno their home for the past several years and recently welcomed Leroy, a rescued Siberian Husky, into their family. He also enjoys spending time with his children, who remain an important part of his life outside the dental practice.
